About me

Hi, I’m Wendy. Yuma Yoga was born from my own need for softness, connection, and creative space in the middle of life’s busyness. What started as a personal practice has become a space I now hold for others, where we can move, breathe, laugh, and feel…Without pressure.

My approach blends body aware-ness with emotional safety, always offering permission instead of expectation. Classes are rooted in care, shaped with creativity, and held in a spirit of lightness. It’s yoga, but it’s also a reminder that you don’t need to fix yourself. You just need space to be.

Yuma Yoga isn’t defined by a style. It’s defined by how it feels. Whether it’s Vinyasa or Yin, every class is a Signature Yuma experience: rooted in care, shaped by creativity, and guided with gentle presence. Expect subtle details, emotional spaciousness,  real permission to show up as you are. No pressure, no posturing, just presence.

  • Flowing through Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Aether — a multisensory journey of movement, essential oils, music meditations, and elemental themes. Awaken your senses and align with nature’s rhythm through immersive ambulation and ritual. Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic practice that links breath to movement in a flowing sequence of poses. It builds strength, flexibility, and balance while encouraging mindfulness and presence. Each class offers a creative flow, designed to energize the body and calm the mind.

  • Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues of the body, especially the fascia, where tension, emotions, and energy are often stored. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing for deep release and increased flexibility. Rooted in stillness and patience, this practice aligns with the elemental flow—inviting you to connect inward through Earth’s grounding, Water’s surrender, Fire’s inner warmth, Air’s spaciousness, and Aether’s subtle energy.

  • A Womb Circle is a sacred space where women gather to connect, share, and heal together. Through storytelling, singing, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork), we reconnect with our bodies and inner wisdom. It's a space to explore the cycles of womanhood, support one another, and cultivate deep sisterhood in a nurturing, non-judgmental environment. A Womb Circle is a sacred space where women gather to connect, share, and heal together. Through storytelling, singing, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork), we reconnect with our bodies and inner wisdom. It's a space to explore the cycles of womanhood, support one another, and cultivate deep sisterhood in a nurturing, non-judgmental environment.
